You should always feel free to write just to say "Hi!" I love to hear about your experiences at Passions in Poetry, and often find incoming email to be the highlight of my whole day. I read everything, even though I can't always find time to respond to everyone.
However, if you are writing for a specific reason, the best way to contact us may depend that reason. Please read the section below and select the appropriate action.
How do I submit my poetry?
To find out more about submitting poetry, simply click on the button in our menu (to the right) that says "Submit."
Can I put a link to Passions on my web site?
You bet! Just copy and paste the follow HTML into your web page:
<a href="http://www.netpoets.com/">Passions in Poetry</a><br>
Poems for the People - Poems by the People
And thanks!
Will you "trade links" with my web site?
Sorry, but we don't believe reciprocal linking is in the best interest of our visitors (or yours, either). You should add a link to Passions in Poetry ONLY if you believe it would benefit your visitors, not because you get a link from us in exchange. If you should link to us on that basis, by all means, let us know and we'll reciprocate the courtesy by visiting your web site (which "might" result in a link).
Can you help me find a poem?
I get a lot of mail asking for help in finding a special occasion poem, or one by a specific author, or maybe one that someone read years ago and would like to find again. Unfortunately, there's not a great deal I can do beyond what's already here at Passions. Check our Links page for other web sites. Post a question in our forums (with thousands of active Members, we actually have a pretty good success rate there). But please don't write to ask, 'cause I just plain don't have any answers for you.
Can I post one of your poems on my web site?
That's up to the individual author. While Passions publishes the poems, we don't own them. Most of our Resident Poets have chosen to publish their email address with their work, though a few have opted for more privacy. If you can contact the author, do so and ask their permission. If you can't contact them, don't use their poetry without permission.
