Nothing Compares To You

I'm sitting here filled with wonder
At the amazing things you do
How the waters stay in the oceans
And the vast beauty of the view

How the stars are hung in the sky
Within them is written your word
How we are the following sheep
And you are the only Shepherd

How the sky is painted with color
Bursts of orange in the sunset glow
How much knowledge it took to make
And how little us humans know

How intricately you planned it
There was nothing you left unthought
From the delicacy of a baby
To all the sins of ours you bought

There's no other love that's out there
As deep and as faithful and true
No other comfort to be found
Because nothing compares to you

Nothing compares to your miracles
Or the listening time you spend
How you always take good care of us
And our broken hearts that you mend

To us, our problems like mountains
To you, they're no problem at all
You're ever so watchful and there
To help catch us, when we do fall

I'm just sitting here filled with wonder
At the awesome things that you do
At being our Lord and Savior
Because nothing compares to You!

I have always loved poems because they are from the heart and are beautiful. I, myself, haven't been able to write poetry but love it still. I think this one poem sums it up in just a few lines and I loved it. It is so true to how big God really is and what he has done for us. Thanks for taking the time to write about our Lord and Savior. He deserves ever moment we can give him and more. I know I'm not deserving of Jesus' sacrafice but he did it for me with out regret. i like this poem. i was thinking of the same thing a while back. just sitting back in amazement and thinking how beautiful. there is nothing like the calm after the storm. we had a storm not to long ago and the clouds after the storm toward really high. if yoiu would look down the street it looked like the clouds overtook the street.
