About the Poem
I wrote this poem for my son. I love him with all my heart and I always want him to know.
Angels Cried |
by Pauline Hamblin |
On the day that you were born, I know the angels cried, To send away from them to me, A most wonderful and delightful child. For you have brought Such joy to me, And for this I am so grateful. But I know they miss you, son, From around the Master's table. I feel honored and blessed this day To have you by my side, For you, my son, my gift from God, Have brought to me such peace and joy. I feel I must confide, My son, I can't thank God enough. |

I love this poem. My first son was born during a heatwave. However, the day he was born it rained. I've always told him the angels cried when he left. My second son's name means "gift from God"

I think poem has a meaning about the unconditional love a father has for his son. It's also saying that he will always be there for his son whenever he needs his dad.
