About the Poem
Once a friend, I say, should be always a friend. I once was called a "keeper of friendships." I hold those thoughts dear and words so dear to me
Words We Said |
by Hope |
Yes I am a keeper You gave me things to keep Thoughts, memories, words All comfort in my sleep We both chose those words Keeper I don’t use lightly Where do you keep yours I think about mine nightly The keeping lasts forever Forever is what you said Happy to have them with me Each time I go to bed Hope this is not in vain A keeper I chose to be Hope you hold the thoughts I keep those sent to me Remember what you said Because I always do A keeper of fond memories Should last a lifetime through |

One of the "best" play on word poems I have encountered, with a heart felt message also.
