We must be getting desperate For people who can fill the ranks Of doctors, lawyers, police, Even presidents of banks. When I was young, these pillars Were imposingly mature. Now it seems the practice is To pick them younger every year. |

I vote yes on more like this. I know exactly how you feel. Did you ever see a cop and wonder if the boy scout uniforms had been changed? Your poem made me smile. Thanks!

Loved the poem, its so very true for I am 53-and live with my daughter and 3 girls-who 17-16-11 and being a grandma sometimes can be hard-the kids think if I sleep in the day time they have to wake me up to make sure I'm alive-to them 53 is ready for a rocking chair and nothing else, my husban died 4 years ago and boy they think I'm too old to still want a man-anyway love all the poems keep them comeing, us old folks look forward to them. Thanks-from karen
