About the Poem
This is a poem about what I think of others. I think it's really wrong to judge people on how they look, their physical appearances. So, I gathered up my guts and wrote this poem.
As You Are |
by Emily Fessler |
No more, no less, Come as a friend. Not stupid, not smart, Come as a human being. Not pretty, not ugly, Come as you are. Not early, not late, Come on time. Not shy, not outgoing, Come with personality. Not happy, not sad, Come with feelings. Don't come with a fake identity, Come as you always are. |

My exact thoughts and so true - once met a friend who was physicaly "different" but one of the nicest souls ive ever met - all because I looked past the outside and was able to see inside :)
