About the Poem
Anger can be all-encompassing, consuming every part of us until we find a way to free ourselves from it.
I wrote this poem when I was very angry. It wasn't until I was able to sit back and look at what I had written that I realized how consumed I was by it. Only then was I able to set myself free .

Brewing, stewing, spewing, gut-wrenching anger. Welling, swelling, dwelling, gut-wrenching anger. Seething, teasing, pleasing, gut-wrenching anger. Finds me, binds me, blinds me, gut-wrenching anger. Leaves me, Cleans me, Frees me, Gut-wrenching anger. |
