About the Poem
Kristine was beautiful by any definition of the word. Flowing curves that couldn't hide the strength of gymnastics training. Long midnight hair with hints of palest red. Soft skin tanned by California sun. Sensuous lips accented by high cheekbones. The classic beauty of a classy lady.
But the most amazing thing about Kristine were her eyes.
Colors |
by Ron Carnell |
The color of her eyes is trust, A trust long born of truth. The color of her eyes is hope, A hope instilled by youth. The color of her eyes is fire, A fire she always stirs. The color of her eyes is peace, A peace uniquely hers. The color of her eyes is heaven, A heaven yet unseen. The color of her eyes is beauty, A beauty beyond the green. |
