About the Poem
Though My Love may deny it, I know she is biased by her love for me, as her own words have often shown. This I wrote to let her know that I love her too.
I Love You, Too... |
by Jason Silverthorne |
I know that I’m not all that handsome Nor am I suave and debonair I know I’ve got streaks of silver In my once golden hair I know I’m not as slim As I was when I was young The things I like to do now Aren’t, to you, a lot of fun But you don’t seem to see me The same as others do Their words, you say, are false Only your words are true You tell me that I’m handsome You say that I am sweet You say you like my hair Including the silver streaks You even think that I’m smart But this just proves my point You see me with your heart I know that’s what you do And I have just one answer Dear, I Love You Too ! |
