About the Poem

This poem was written while I was watching to moon come out at night a few weeks ago. I was feeling the urge to write so I put pen to paper and by midnight the poem was complete.

The Moon Rise

Close your eyes and
Open your imagination
Listen carefully to the
Sound of our love
Rising high above

Watch the moon rise
Feel the good vibes
Becoming mesmerized

Drifting through the night
Holding you close and tight
The stars shine so bright
Forever we will be free

Watch the moon rise
Feel the heat inside
Let our hearts collide

As the taste of you lingers
And the sight of you makes
Me quiver I know I have found
My destiny knowing that it is
Just you and me

Watch the moon rise
Sensing heaven in the skies
We feel so high
Watching the moon rise

Lovely poem but be careful because people on myspace are stealing poems from here. Yours has been one of them. In view of copyright laws you could get them into trouble.
