About the Poem
This poem is the description of two people finally finding each other. They know that someday they will change and maybe not be together, but they will always remember their love of each other.
A Duet On Wings |
by Alyce S'mone |
Together at last they soar so very high bounded together with each other's promises So safe is she in his arms at very last they live with their triumph over the world But soon the moment ends as the violin stops its trill the perfect harmony fades and the music ceases to play They are separated once again A riff of a distance apart They know they aren't perfect they know they can't lie but someday they'll live someday they'll be together and always a duet on wings |
