About the Poem
This poem was written for someone who responded to another poem I had written at this site. She was looking for the right words to say to the person she loved. Maybe there is someone in your life that you need to let them know that you love them. Maybe a rose will open up the door for you also. Never underestimate the power of a rose.

| Where do I begin? You were my very first love Yet then, things did not work out But you are in my life again and now I have no doubts. A single white rose opened up the door The love that I had looked for I have found in you And now I will search no more. You say I am your soul mate I know that you are mine No matter the distance or circumstance of life Our love will stand the test of time. I wanted you to know Exactly how I feel The love we share is just the beginning Because I have so much more to give. |
