About the Poem

As you know by now if you have been following my poems, I have been writing about a new love. Along with the pain that follows a broken marriage of many years. Even though my new love and I have suffered many of the same trials, his hurts are fresher than mine, and his heart has not had long to heal. He cares for me very deeply, I see it in his eyes, feel it in every touch. But I also see and feel his pain!

Confusion

You loved her,
A love Forever.
Till a friend,
Dishonored a friend.

It still hurts,
The pain is so real.
Your eyes show,
What the heart conceals.

Confusion,
There is another,
She loves you,
A love forever.

Is it real,
Or just illusion.
Hard to know,
The hurt still too new.
