About the Poem

I wrote this for my boyfriend to tell him just how much he means to me and what he has done for me.

Ray Of Light

There were nights
I'd sit alone in the dark
Cry myself to sleep
Wishing for someone
To fill my thoughts
Come into my life
And replace the darkness with light

Then you came along
Like the first star every night
Bright, brilliant, full of promise
Like a ray of light
You light up my days
Light up my nights
And fill my life with hope
