About the Poem

I met a girl in Paris on April the 5th. I fell in love at once, she was so beautiful, I never saw her again, but I still can't forget her eyes.

Angel

You are a wild flower
the sun that blinds me in the desert
the unexpected rain on a summer night

I would hold you prisoner on an island

But how is it possible to imprison the breeze ?
How is it possible to capture one with wings ?

You are not mine,
you belong to nobody

Only God possesses you

But I ask you
only one thing

a glance

to keep the colour of your eyes
always inside my soul
