About the Poem
This poem was written while my girlfriend was taking a nap.
Watching You |
by David Davis |
I watched you today, Lying in bed. So many thoughts, Running through my head You looked so peaceful, I wanted to touch your face. You looked so beautiful, My heart started to race. You knew I was there, Standing by your side. My heart wanted to say something, My mind wanted to hide. I know that you knew, That I was there. I was watching you, Lost in a deep stare. If you would have opened, Your eyes to my stare. You would have seen, How very much I care. |
