About the Poem
This is a poem I wrote several years ago about a young relationship that I had. Even though I was very young I was very much in love. More so than he...
Stop Looking at Me |
by Brandi Schneider |
I've been in love before I was hurt worse than you'll ever be I've been alone and lonely Would you please stop looking at me? I know what beauty is I know how to get everything that I really need I'll never settle for less Would you please stop doing this deed? I have kissed enough men I have felt love so gentle and true I remember how beautiful the feeling Why can't I stop looking at you? I hate the way you walk How cocky and so sure And I hate how you make me feel so insecure. I don't fall for guys like you I can't even remember the color of your eyes I only know that they move me And when you're not here the feeling dies. It doesn't make any sense to me Everyone keeps telling me what you are God, I know it I can see! But you are the one thing on my mind And I try so hard to forget you But when you reach for me I know that I will always let you. |

it's funny how an ex lover can have such a hold over you. Just when you think you're getting over her . she comes and tells you she still cares for you. Conflicting emotions wash over all over again & hell is your accomdation again. Thanks for the poem . :)

Good job! This was so good. I know how it feels when you don't want to fall. yet sometimes you just can't help it.
