About the Poem

Belief in fairies and the love of wandering in the woods with all the beauty, smells and sounds of nature around me inspired this poem.

Have You Seen A Fairy?

Flitting through the woods
On wings of gossamer
The Elfin Queen
Sparkles with the magic
Of the woodlands
She's rarely seen
By you or I
Tho if you listen
Carefully
Her song is
carried by the breeze,
A tinkle of bells
To charm and please
and welcome you
to the sunny dells.
